I've always been drawn to animals of all kinds. My career started with my local animal shelter and I quickly realized this was the work I was meant to do. I spent my career exploring unique opportunities to further my skillset to help animals in need. With the experience and knowledge I gained throughout my career, I created Slinger Dog Walker to offer professional pet care services to my neighbors.

Career Veterinary Technician

I have over 15 years of experience as a veterinary technician, starting in general practice and evolving to specialty services like emergency, ICU, oncology, and integrative therapies.

Experienced Hiker

In my spare time, I enjoy hiking the Ice Age National Scenic Trail with my hounds and husband. Together, we are lucky enough to travel and hike around the nation to experience new landscapes, weather, and terrain.

Varied Species Experience

I have experience handling a variety of different creatures through my service to my local shelter, veterinary clinics, and personal experience. I welcome goats, horses, lizards, rabbits, chickens, and beyond! (Nothing illegal, please!)

Canine Behavior Enthusiast

Over my career, I studied canine behavior and training as a hobby through mentorships, hands-on applications in high-volume companion animal operations, and Fear Free certifications.
